Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to help students understand the principles of accounting and how it provides information that is timely and relevant for decision-making in businesses. Students will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of accounting, including the Accounting Equation as well as double-entry recordkeeping. Students will apply their understanding of these fundamental concepts in specific financial statement areas including the revenue and inventory cycles.
