Catalog description
Presents statistical methods as practiced in the biological, environmental, and health sciences by actively engaging with real-world examples that are culturally, socially, and globally relevant. Includes descriptive methods, experimental design, probability, interval estimation, hypothesis testing, one- and two-sample problems, simple correlation and simple linear regression, and predictive techniques and their applications in biological, environmental, and health sciences. This course has a laboratory component that uses computer software for statistical analysis. May be offered in a distance-learning format. CAB GE G. Cal-GETC 2.
