Introduces professional/ethical conduct, sterilization, infection control, and instrument basics of exploring, probing, and beginning scaling techniques through laboratory and clinical experiences. First in a four-course series in clinical dental hygiene practice. May be offered in a distance-learning format. Limitation on Enrollment: Acceptance to the Cabrillo Dental Hygiene Program.
