Want to gain the skills to confidently prepare taxes and launch a career in one of the most in-demand fields? This course covers fundamental principles of federal and California individual income taxation, including tax planning, compliance, and preparation. Real-world applications are also emphasized through computerized tax projects and hands-on practice with current tax software. Students receive the preparation necessary to meet the California Tax Education Council (CTEC) Qualifying Education requirements for tax preparers, making this course an ideal choice either for those pursuing a career in tax or seeking practical knowledge for personal or professional use. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
