Catalog description
This course is a study of the fundamental concepts of pharmacology, with a focus on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and related nursing implications for the major drug classes. Nursing process and cultural implications will be discussed for the basic drug classifications. Topics Include Central Nervous System Agents, Anti-Epileptic & Anti-Parkinson Drugs, Drugs Affecting the Autonomic Nervous System, Drugs Affecting the Cardiovascular System, Drugs Affecting the Endocrine System, Men's and Women's Health Drugs. Graded only.
