Catalog description

This advanced acting course prepares actors to transition their skills from theatre to cinematic performance. Through practical exercises and film shoots, students explore the nuances of acting for film and television, focusing on techniques tailored to the camera's frame. Students gain confidence in shaping authentic performances for specific shot composition and blocking, while surveying commercial, industrial, and film/TV material. Audition technique and self-tape skills are honed, preparing students to book work in a thriving industry.
