Catalog description

This course provides an in depth exploration of the elements of a successful musical recording. Students develop their critical listening skills while studying song recordings from a variety of eras and styles. Students examine productions from the perspective of musical elements, emotional arc, production techniques, artistic vision, and other aspects. This course is open for students of all experience levels, but is intended for those who plan to further develop their music production skills.
