Catalog description
This ensemble rehearses and performs a variety of contemporary popular music, including rock, R&B, pop, hip-hop, country, folk, and other styles. Students will develop their instrumental or vocal ability, musicianship, and other performance skills. This course is designed for students with previous experience in music, and an audition is required. To audition, enroll in the course and contact the instructor or Performing Arts Department chairperson. This course may be repeated for credit to meet humanities elective requirements or the Music Concentration ensemble requirement. MEETING DETAILS: 3 hrs lab Prerequisite: Instructor permission upon completion of audition.
