Cardiac Sonography Clinical I

Catalog description

This course covers the development of students' skills in the performance of echocardiograms at the clinical sites. Under supervision of their clinical instructor and the BHCC clinical coordinator, students gain knowledge through scanning patients in the clinical setting. Students' performances are evaluated through clinical competencies in each related echo area. Additional expenses may include supplies, equipment, and/or uniforms. Course meets three (3) days/week. Prerequisite: Echo II (MIG-119). Co-requisite: Echo III (MIG-201).
