Catalog description

This course introduces students to the hospital and its radiology department. The course centers activities on observation and assisting with various basic radiographic procedures. Students begin to develop competency in the performance of radiographic examinations of the chest, abdomen, and upper extremities. Additional expenses may include supplies, equipment, online tracking software, and/or uniforms. Class meets two (2) days/week with 16 hours of clinical practice weekly.
