Catalog description
This personal finance course covers the following topics: the components of wealth and how to build wealth; how and why to work with a budget; the impact of credit scores on financial health and credit score management; behavior and finance; debt as part of a sound financial plan; basic investment principles and mechanics; the importance of insurance, estate and tax planning. It is intended for students at all levels and for all programs of study. This course meets the General Education requirement for General Education Elective.
