Catalog description

This course will apply the laws of Newtonian mechanics to help students attain the basic engineering science concepts that serve as the building block for further courses in engineering analysis and design. The course applies the equations of mechanics to the general engineering sciences, including solid, fluid mechanics, and materials, thereby contributing to the success of students as practicing engineers after graduation. Class meets: 3 hour lecture.
