Basic Nursing Therapeutics

Catalog description

Foundational nursing course; enables students to begin developing an understanding of the professional nursing role. Core nursing concepts, (caring, compassion, wellness, health promotion, disease prevention, therapeutic use of self) are integrated as the student learns about the complex nature of providing nursing care of individuals and their families. Must be taken in program sequence. NSG 373 must be taken concurrently.
