Music 106 is the second of a two-semester course introducing basic topics and skills associated with music theory and analysis. This course–concentrating on Western classical music and modern popular music–completes the study of diatonic harmony begun in MUS 105 and MUS 105 , begins the study of chromaticism, and introduces small formal structures.
