The development of intercultural competencies is a requisite for university students who aim to engage the global arena of respective disciplines. This course builds upon learning students completed in MGG 205 and begins with a required 2-week practical and engaging study abroad to Ghana during the winter intersession which provides the foundation for student learning in the seated portion of the course on campus for the duration of the spring term. Through this hybrid course, students will have the opportunity to explore, expand, and better articulate their understanding of diverse ways of thinking and solving real world problems in global contexts.
