Catalog description

This course teaches equity valuation. Students determine the fair and intrinsic value of publicly traded common stock by using discounted cashflow analysis and relative valuation techniques. Student outcomes produce a buy, sell, or hold opinion. In addition, class coverage includes discussions on other dynamics that influence equity valuation such as industry analysis and macro-economic factors. This class covers most the CFA Level 1 equity portion of the exam.
