Catalog description

The course introduces the history and evolution of economic philosophy. Using both secondary sources as well as the original writings of prominent historical thinkers – such as Aristotle, Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Karl Marx, Thorstein Veblen, and John M. Keynes – the course deepens students’ understanding of how economic theories that are taught in the present day have arrived.
