Catalog description
Entrepreneurship for Creators prepares art and design students to leverage entrepreneurial thinking, processes, and risk assessment within today’s creative economy, focusing on the identification and development of new creative ventures. Students will develop inclusive, socially responsible, and community-engaged design, products, and business practices. We will address the cultural impact of design and the role of the designer within the context of sustainability, new technologies, public space, DIY, and user-centered production models. There may be a class fee assessed to your student account.
