Introduction to Yoruba

Catalog description

This is a Yorùbá language and culture course. This course is designed especially for Brown University students who would like to enroll in Introduction to Yoruba but have (had) issues with time conflicts. Students with some background in Yoruba who wish to review and master Yoruba are also welcome. This course covers topics in Introduction to Yorùbá (YORU0100 and YORU0200), which are taught in the fall and spring semesters. After completing this course, students will be prepared to enroll in YORU0300. Freshmen coming to Brown can take this course or take YORU0100 and YORU0200 in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 respectively.
