Advanced Playwriting

Catalog description

This course brings together students of diverse writing backgrounds to build conversation and experimentation around multiple narrative techniques. Classes include craft exercises as well as readings from a range of texts––all to look deeper at how story-worlds are built. Writers create original theatrical works, and through workshop-style classes discover their own particular voice and what makes it unique and necessary. Open to graduate and undergraduate students.
