Catalog description

This course is an introduction to contemporary dance practice. Movement is the primary work of this course. Students will study basic contemporary techniques, acquire foundational knowledge about dance as an artform, and develop awareness of aesthetic and stylistic choices. This class is a collaborative, inclusive, and non-competitive environment. No prior dance experience is required.
