Catalog description

This full-year course (half-credit each semester) is designed for 3rd year PhD students in Political Science and covers a range of topics that are crucial to students as they transition from the course phase to the research phase of their careers. Topics include practical and substantive issues related to planning and carrying out research, collaborating with others, teaching, ethics, obtaining external funding, and providing feedback to other scholars. Course only open to Political Science PhD students.
