Generative Poetry Workshop

Catalog description

This intensive generative poetry workshop combines in-class workshops, reading and review assignments, craft talks, in-class writing exercises and course portfolios/packets. The in-class workshops will focus on work brought in for discussion and review and will also include in class writing workshops responding to prompts. The course is designed to encourage the generation of new poetry by students and to develop good reading practices to engender good poetry-writing craft.
