Catalog description

As a continuation of KREA0250 (Elementary Korean for Advanced Beginners), this course is also designed for heritage learners of Korean who have a foundational understanding of the language and wish to rapidly advance their proficiency. Focusing more on expanding vocabulary, refining grammar, and enhancing both oral and written communication, the course addresses the specific needs of heritage learners. Emphasis will be placed on conversational fluency, including smooth use of honorifics and cultural literacy. Students will explore authentic materials, engage in structured dialogues, and participate in discussions that connect language learning to their personal and cultural experiences.This course is ideal for learners who want to strengthen their ties to the Korean language and culture while accelerating their language learning journey.
