Introduction to Health Policy Analysis

Catalog description

In this course, students will learn about historical and contemporary state and federal health policies and the methods used to evaluate their efficacy, with a major focus on the Medicare program. Students will learn how to use statistical analysis software to manage and analyze real Medicare claims data, which are the main data source for landmark health services research studies.
