Intensive Beginning German

Catalog description

An intensive, double-credit language and culture course that meets three days a week with an additional section on Tuesday and Thursday. At the end of the semester, students will be able to communicate successfully in German about everyday topics relating to the university, jobs, history, travel and the cultures of the German-speaking world as well as about your own. Ideal for undergraduate students interested in learning German for internships or study abroad and for graduate students interested in starting their language requirements. The course is designed for new students of German, regardless of any previous experience with German. Please register for both the SO1 and either C01 or C02. Graduate students should request an override.
