The two men try to out-wit each other on such topics as political theory, literary criticism, and education. Major questions throughout the discussion are: What is the role of knowledge in a successful life, and how can we acquire knowledge that leads to success? We will read the dialogue in Greek. Prerequisite: two years of Greek ( GREK 0400 ) or demonstrated equivalent ability.
