Introduction to Greek Literature

Catalog description

Introduction to Greek literature through intensive reading. Prerequisite: GREK 0200 , GREK 0110 , or the equivalent. This course focuses on translation and comprehension of Classical Greek prose. The goal is to expand your vocabulary, increase your ease with morphology, and deepen your understanding of syntax as each of these elements of the language interact with each other. The primary text will be Plato’s Apology, with some additional readings by Xenophon.
