Today’s leaders not only have to have the leadership skills to navigate complex and volatile business environments, they will also need to implement effective innovative strategies to move businesses forward. In the context of rapid technological advancements and digital transformations, developing an effective innovation strategy can propel organizations to stay competitive and find growth opportunities in a global context. Such innovation derives from strong entrepreneurial leadership and an understanding of the capabilities and strategic objectives of one’s organization. It also requires an understanding of the innovation ecosystem within particular industries and foresight to strategically take advantage of opportunities. This class will focus on developing the necessary skills and strategies for individuals to succeed as innovation leaders.
