Catalog description

This is a seminar-style case and discussion-based course that introduces students to the foundational principles of Global Sports Management. Specifically, the course objectives are: 1. Introduce foundational principles and frameworks in sports management 2. Explore the economic, marketing, organizational, and cultural dimensions of sporting organizations 3. Apply strategic and operational concepts through real-world sports case studies 4. Develop skills to analyze and solve complex challenges in sports organizations 5. Examine global trends, opportunities, and risks shaping the sports industry 6. Foster informed debate and critical thinking on sports management issues
