Jack Maggs, for example, answers the questions, "Can the subaltern speak?" and "Does the empire write back?" while Fingersmith offers a lesbian version of the Victorian sensation novel. Patchwork Girl rewrites Frankenstein, stitching together fiction, gender, and identity. Enrollment limited to 15.
