Introduces MAT students to elementary school students through work in a unique summer enrichment program for inner city Providence children: Summer Prep readings and seminar meetings focus on arts education; introductions to the teaching of literacy, math and science; curriculum and lesson planning; creating a community of learners; issues of diversity; and physical education.
