Catalog description

This course will explore the impact of the environment on our lives—on how much we earn, how long we live, where we reside, and more—and understand the ways in which households, firms, and governments adapt to the climate around them. Bringing insights from economic theory and empirical tools from quantitative social science, we will examine what data can show us about coping with the consequences of global warming. The course will cover issues both in the U.S. and around the world, with a particular focus on low- and middle- income countries.
