Catalog description

This course is designed to provide CPSY concentrators (psychology/cognitive science/cognitive neuroscience) with tools needed to conduct, analyze, and interpret research. Topics include research ethics, hypothesis testing, standard designs (e.g., descriptive, observational, correlational, survey, experimental), and best practices for statistical analyses. The course will include lectures, laboratory exercises, data collection, and presentation of findings in written and oral reports. Prerequisite: CPSY 0900 or equivalent with instructor permission.
