Catalog description

Explores the collaboration between poets and composers in the twentieth century. It will primarily focus on Modern Greek composers (Hadjidakis, Theodorakis, Lagios and others) and their collaboration with numerous poets (Garcia Lorca, Gatsos, Eluard, Elytis, Neruda, Ritsos and others). These works will also be examined in depth from a literary and theoretical perspective. Enrollment limited to 19 first year students.
