Catalog description

An introduction to modern instrumentation and experimental techniques as applied to physical chemistry. Experiments will emphasize application of the ideas of spectroscopy, kinetics, statistical mechanics, and thermodynamics to systems of chemical and biochemical interest. Prerequisites: CHEM 1140 or permission of the instructor.
