Organic Chemistry II

Catalog description

Sequel to CHEM 0350 . This course is reserved for students who have previously received a score of 70 or higher in CHEM 0360L lab. Prerequisite: CHEM 0350 . Investigates the constitution and properties of organic compounds at a fundamental level with an introduction to physical organic, bioorganic, and synthetic organic chemistry. Laboratory work is concerned with the identification and characterization of organic compounds, including modern instrumental methods.
