Introductory Chemistry

Catalog description

Explores stoichiometry, atomic and molecular structure, chemical bonding, solutions, gases, chemical reactions, equilibria, thermochemistry. S/NC. This course does not have a laboratory component and is intended for students who feel that they would benefit from taking a semester of chemistry before they take Chem 0330. Students will be provided a link on the department web page to a self assessment test which may be of some help in determining if this course is right for them.
