Research Methods in Behavioral Science

Catalog description

This course provides a broad overview of the research methods typically used in behavioral and social health sciences research. Students will learn to evaluate qualitative and quantitative public health research critically, to design their own research protocol, and to conduct a systematic review of the literature on a health outcome of their choosing. Prior coursework in research methodology and quantitative methods is recommended but not required. Open to public health graduate students and advanced undergraduates concentrating in public health. Enrollment limited to 15.
