Catalog description

A Senior Applied Mathematics seminar on brain modeling, emphasizing: stochastic aspects of cortical dynamics; mean-field approaches to the analysis of large networks; models of spike-timing-dependent plasticity; the emergence of network motifs and their role in cortical function. Open to Neuroscience and CLPS students with adequate mathematical and computational preparation. Background in neuroscience desirable but not required.
