Catalog description
The course introduces theoretical principles of immunology which involve the structure, function and interactions of the immune system. The serological techniques useful in the diagnosis of many diseases will be reviewed and performed at the College. Prerequisite: CHM 116, BIO 239, MED 102 and MTH 119 all with a grade of C or better. This course includes 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of laboratory. Instructional Support Fee applies. Gen. Ed. Competencies Met: Critical Thinking and Scientific Reasoning and Discovery.
