Catalog description
This course offers a comprehensive foundation in the science of welding and allied processes employed in the welding industry. Topics covered include various welding processes [Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)], parameters, terminology, joint types, symbols, materials, discontinuities, quality standards, electricity fundamentals, equipment operation, and allied processes (PAC, CAG). Additional emphasis will be placed on understanding diverse career opportunities within the welding industry.
