Senior Capstone

Catalog description

This course is an experiential, juried course designed to assess a student's artistic vision, ability to undertake and solve complex problems, and demonstrate significant technical competency. The Senior Capstone course is intended as a culmination of a student's learning and progress and not merely as a stand-alone course requirement. The major focus of this course is the execution of the Senior Capstone project. The Senior Capstone project is intended both to demonstrate the student's progress through the program of study and to serve as a major testament to the maturity of the student's capacities in theatre studies. Furthermore, the Senior Capstone project is expected to prepare students for graduate school entrance audition and/or portfolio review, or for direct entry into the workforce.
