Catalog description
This course involves an intense study of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and its direct application and use with dialects in performance. Students acquire an understanding of several dialects for stage work, with mastery in some dialects. A major focus of the course is understanding and mastering the International Phonetic Alphabet.
