Catalog description

This course will help students develop the skills to: determine the objectives of dramatic works as they read critically, investigate and analyze the script, and effectively research the world of the play, cultivate curiosity to empathetically observe others and their feelings, thoughts and surroundings, develop a vocabulary of design elements, succinctly articulate their developing design ideas orally, visually and in writing, prepare to create purposeful, effective and unified theatrical designs that tell a story, collaborate and communicate with others, document their development.
