Catalog description
This course is an introduction to evidence-based practices related to the field of special education. Types of educational research will be examined along with legal policies and criteria for identifying evidence-based practices. Teacher candidates will be exposed to current evidence-based practices such as Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention(RtI), and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and their implementation in the educational environment.
