The course focuses on the "sourcing" aspects of supply chain management. Students learn through case studies, scholarly articles, mini-projects, current events, and interactions with supply chain professionals. Focus topics include strategic sourcing, source to settle/procure to pay process model, supplier selection, supplier relationship management, bids and proposals, negotiation, and current sourcing topics.
