Students analyze how societal, political, and economic factors affect contemporary political problems in the Global South (Africa, Asia, Latin America, Middle East). Incorporating the interests and roles of domestic and international actors, they use comparative analysis to evaluate policy options, propose resolutions, and negotiate agreements on major political issues.
