Catalog description
This course introduces students to the methods of political science research. Students will learn how to design, conduct, analyze, and interpret research in the social sciences. Specifically, we discuss how to conduct a literature review, formulate hypotheses, collect empirical data, and evaluate political science research findings. Students will learn how to analyze and interpret the z-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square tests, and basic linear regression.
