Catalog description

The course will cover the following topics in electricity and magnetism: electrostatics, electric fields in matter, electric potential, magnetostatics, and magnetic fields in matter. We will also develop mathematical skills in using: method of images, multipole expansions, separation of variables, multivariable vector calculus.
